“I joined my first professional club, Hawassa City F.C., in 2012. I spent two years at the club, where I helped the team achieve two 3rd-place finishes in the league. During those seasons, I was the top goal scorer for the team. After my time at Hawassa City F.C., I moved on to play for other clubs”

I am the third child of my family and the only female player in my neighborhood. I used to play football with mainly male composed teams both in school football matches and neighborhood football matches in my town Durame. I started playing football at the age of six. In 2011, I participated in the All Ethiopian games representing the SNNP regional state. During the tournament, I scored seven goals, and that became my initial momentum to get noticed by Ethiopian Woman National Team recruiters.
